Adding a Cash Acme Hot Water Tank Booster can increase the amount of usable hot water by as high as 234% on gas water heaters and 125% on electric water heaters. The Tank Booster combines a thermostatic mixing valve, a flexible connector and a water heater tee in one package, and can effectively double a household’s usable hot water heater capacity while delivering hot water at safe temperatures in residential or commercial applications. The Thermostatic Mixing Valve mixes both hot and cold water, which increases the tank’s water capacity. It also reduces the chances of legionella growth by allowing the thermostat to be set at 140°F. The Thermostatic Mixing Valve is factory set at 120°F (49°C), but may be easily adjusted, and can be used with SharkBite Flexible Water Heater Connectors and Ball Valves for easy installation in systems using copper, CPVC or PEX tubing — no need for additional transition fittings.

These time switches provide automatic control for electric water heaters. They provide to-the-minute accuracy in programming and time keeping. The time switches can be programmed for repeat daily scheduling, 5-day working week scheduling, weekend scheduling or any individual day scheduling. Timers can be scheduled for operation during the lowest time-of-day rates or to switch off the electric heater during period of utilities peak power usage. The time switches can be set to operate for up to 6 ON/OFF operations daily for a maximum of 42 ON/OFF operations weekly. Both models provide a convenient external override switch and LED load indicator for ease in scheduling hot water as required for extra hot water demands. The timers include a “AA” alkaline battery carryover which protects both time keeping and program information for a minimum of 3 years.
